While out jogging, I would frequently pass a little old Asian guy who was doing some kind of mysterious martial arts-type of exercise in his driveway, smoking a cigarette as he did his moves. I always would wave at him and he would give me a perfunctory nod. I gave him a name and wrote a song about him.
